Sumter High School, located in Sumter, South Carolina, is now accepting applications for the position of Head Football Coach for the 2026 season. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic leader who is committed to academic excellence, student-athlete development, community engagement, and continuing the strong tradition of Gamecock Football.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience required; head coaching experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop student-athletes

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Ability to build positive relationships with players, staff, parents, and the community

Knowledge of program development, offseason conditioning, and staff management

Ability to support academic expectations and track athlete eligibility
