Lakewood High School – Football

Lakewood High School is seeking a highly motivated Offensive Line Coach, with the strong possibility of assuming Offensive Coordinator responsibilities for the right candidate. Our program is currently entering a rebuilding process, and we are looking for an energetic coach with a builder’s mindset who is ready to make a year-round commitment to our student-athletes. Expectations include leading the offensive line with a heavy focus on fundamentals, toughness, and footwork, driving year-round player development, and assisting with off-season strength and conditioning and summer workouts. Prior high school or college coaching experience is preferred. 

This coaching position is not tied to a teaching role, and non-certified community coaches are welcome and encouraged to apply. However, for those seeking to teach, candidates must hold or be eligible for a South Carolina teaching certificate. Current anticipated teaching openings include Mathematics, Science, English, Special Education, Career Specialist, Agriculture, and a possible opening in Physical Education (PE).
