Position: Assistant Softball Coach
Location: Latta High School, Latta, SC
Latta High School is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Softball Coaches to support the development and success of our softball program. These individuals will work closely with the head coach to build a strong, positive team culture focused on skill development, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting practices, workouts, and game strategies
- Mentor and support student-athletes both on and off the field
- Help with supervision during games, travel, and team events
- Contribute to fundraising, community engagement, and program promotion
- Ensure compliance with all school, district, and SCHSL regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous coaching or playing experience at the high school, collegiate, or competitive level
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and meet all district employment requirements
