Leadership Summit a monumental success!

We were fortunate to hear from three incredible speakers who shared powerful messages about leadership and growth.

Darius “Shaquille” Leonard, recently retired NFL player, spoke about how leadership prepares you for the future and emphasized the importance of mentorship and building a strong foundation.
Our very own Student-Athlete Advisory Council President encouraged student-athletes to get involved in leadership early—reminding everyone that you don’t have to be a captain to lead; you just have to start somewhere.
Lastly, Mrs. LaQuanna Jackson spoke about living vape-free, sharing valuable insight into the damaging effects vaping has on student-athletes and providing resources to help those who want to quit.

Thank you to all the schools that attended! The summit was highly interactive, meaningful, and filled with leadership lessons that will carry our student-athletes forward.

The South Carolina High School League would like to thank all the schools that participated in last week’s Leadership Summit. Your involvement made this event a true success!
