Spring Captains’ Course Registration is Open

The Spring Captains’ Course will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. This session will be tailored to directly address the needs of SCHSL student-athletes. Highlights include:

• A mini rules clinic covering expectations for sportsmanship and conduct.
• Discussion of consequences for violations and ways to promote positive attitudes and community engagement
• A leadership presentation from our very own NFHS Hall of Fame Coach, Coach Phil Savitz

These courses and summits are free for all SCHSL member schools.

All students must be registered by their school. Athletic directors are encouraged to register all team captains and organize a designated location (e.g., auditorium or film room) for the student-athletes to attend the session together.
